Professional Experience
Sam joined the Bend, Oregon, office of Stahancyk, Kent & Hook in September of 2021. Sam believes that preparedness and diligence are key to obtaining the best outcome for his clients.
During law school, Sam externed for the Honorable Judge Matthew M. Williams at the King County Superior Court for the State of Washington during a family law rotation. Under the mentorship of Judge Williams, Sam gained unique insight into the issues that present themselves in family law cases. Sam also worked in the University of Washington Low Income Tax Clinic where he helped low-income individuals and families resolve their tax issues.

Sam is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, and hiking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. When he is not outside, you can find him practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, playing basketball, or making his famous thin crust “zero flop” pizza.
