Kelly joined SKH in April 2019. She previously clerked for the Honorable Valeri L. Love and Senior Judge Karsten H. Rasmussen at the Lane County Circuit Court.
Kelly graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2018, with a certificate in Intellectual Property. Kelly was a Managing Editor for the Oregon Law Review. During law school, Kelly had the opportunity to serve as a law clerk in the public sector. She was a law clerk at the University of Oregon in the Office of Employment and Labor Relations and at the Lane County Office of Legal Counsel. Kelly also spent time in the private sector for a summer as a legal intern at Hawai‘i Pacific Health in Honolulu.
In her life before the law, Kelly had a career in Hawai‘i. Kelly did demographic research at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. She also did health policy work for State of Hawai‘i Governor Neil Abercrombie.

Kelly grew up in Hawai‘i, but moved to the Pacific Northwest in pursuit of her education and career. Kelly misses the warm weather and having flowers in bloom year-round. She meticulously tends to her growing plant collection. Kelly tries her best to maintain an active lifestyle to offset her love of baking.
Awards and Achievements
Kelly received an honorable mention in the 2017 American Bar Association Health Law Section Student Writing Competition for her paper on the scope of trade secret protections in accountable care organizations without incurring an antitrust violation.
Kelly won the Oregon Law Review’s 2018 Nancy Farmer Distinguished Service Award and 2017 Maxine Lee Award for Editorial Excellence.
