Professional Experience

Prior to joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook as an associate attorney, David worked for the firm as a law clerk for Joel J. Kent for over 6 months
where he gained extensive insight and invaluable experience.  While in law school, David clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey C. Manske at the
United States District Court for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division, and for the in-house counsel’s office at TriMet.  During his
law school tenure, David made the dean’s list on numerous occasions and received an award for best oral advocate.

Interests

David is an enthusiastic and loyal fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and can be found from September through November of every year calling the hogs; “woo pig sooie!”  In addition to his love of the Razorbacks, David spent many years studying martial arts and boxing, and enjoys spending his time with his lovely wife, Julie Anne, working out, hiking, taking care of their pets, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
