Professional Experience

Chelsea continues working in the Portland legal community since starting in 2010. She started as a trial assistant at Multnomah Defenders, Inc. where she was first exposed to criminal defense. She then worked as a paralegal in the civil litigation context where she worked on cases ranging from foreclosures to construction defect suits. Chelsea received a lot of exposure to the discovery process during her time as a paralegal. Once she felt she had enough experience under her belt, she attended Lewis & Clark Law School to pursue her goal of becoming an attorney. During law school, Chelsea focused on specializing in family law. She clerked at the Oregon Department of Justice in their Child Advocacy Section where she worked on juvenile and dependency matters. Chelsea then completed an externship at St. Andrew Legal Clinic where she was able to help low income families dealing with a range of family law matters.
