Brandon joined the firm in February of 2021. During law school, Brandon clerked for the Consumer, Environmental & Worker Protection Division of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office in Oakland, California, completed an externship through the U.S. Department of the Interior’s National Parks Service, and worked for private civil litigation firms in California’s Bay Area. During his undergraduate studies, Brandon worked as a writing tutor for Arizona State University honors students and as a reporter for the Political Fact Check column of The Arizona Republic.

Active member of the Oregon State Bar. In law school Brandon participated in UC’s Moot Court Program, competed as part of a team in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition, and served as the Vice President of the Hastings Public Interest Law Foundation.
Brandon volunteered as a law student with the Homeless Advocacy Project, a drop-in, pro bono clinic providing legal and social services to people at the largest homeless shelter in San Francisco, California.
Brandon was named a 2015 Outstanding Volunteer by the Justice & Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco. He received an Honorable Mention for Best Oral Argument from the UC Hastings Moot Court Department in Spring 2016. His moot court team placed as quarter-finalists at the National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Spring 2017.
Brandon was born near Atlanta, Georgia, where he was raised before moving to Nairobi, Kenya and, later, the East Bay Area of California. He frequently visited and explored Oregon with his girlfriend, who had found a job in the state during his law school years, and after he graduated, they settled in Portland. Brandon is an avid music enthusiast and collector of vintage vinyl records. As an amateur hobbyist, Brandon uses image editing software to digitally restore historical public-domain photographs that have been damaged or deteriorated by age and contributes the restored images to the Wikimedia Commons website so they can be freely accessed as educational resources. As for sports, Brandon roots for the Golden State Warriors—but says, “please don’t hold that against me!”
