Custody and Parenting Time, Complex Divorce, Asset Division
Abby joined Stahancyk, Kent & Hook in May of 2019 just after graduating from the University of Oregon School of Law. During law school, Abby clerked with a family law firm in Lane County for two years before moving to Portland. While in Portland, she interned with the Honorable Amy Holmes Hehn, a family law judge in Multnomah County. She also served as a clerk with Youth, Rights and Justice, a public defense firm for juveniles. Additionally, she gained experience in business matters while externing with Vacasa, a Portland based vacation rental property where she focused on contract drafting and dispute resolution.
Prior to law school, Abby was a licensed medical social worker at Riverbend hospital in Eugene. She worked directly with medically fragile families in crisis. It was her experience with complex planning that led her to a legal career in family law.

On the weekends Abby can be found anywhere but home. As an avid traveler, she has a goal of visiting as many Major League Baseball stadiums as she can (mostly for the snacks). Additionally, she is particularly fond of New Orleans where she spent two years as a graduate student and visits every chance she gets.
