Stahancyk, Kent & Hook is proud to announce that Erica B. Strader has joined the firm’s Bend office as an associate attorney.
Strader graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2013. While in law school, she worked as a judicial extern for the Lane County Circuit Court. Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Strader worked in the Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office where she appeared in court on behalf of the State for a number of criminal matters. Strader has also previously interned for the Crook County Counsel in Prineville and the Office of the City Attorney in Bend. Before moving to Oregon, Strader worked as a U.S. Senate staffer, and later as director of government affairs for an aviation association in Washington, D.C.
Originally from Eastern Montana, Erica has a natural love for the outdoors and wildlife. Her favorite outdoor activities include hiking, camping, fly-fishing, and running the trails in Central Oregon with her Labrador Retriever. She volunteers with CRAFT (Cat Rescue, Adoption & Foster Team), a non-profit, no-kill shelter in Bend, by fostering abandoned cats and kittens before they are adopted.
Erica is excited for the new challenges working at Stahancyk, Kent & Hook will bring. She says, “I look forward to working at SK&H and being a part of the team.”
