SK&H has collected a sleigh-ful of cool things to do this holiday weekend. Most of are family friendly events that every “kid” in your troop will enjoy, no matter what their age. Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremonies
November 25, 2016 (5:30 p.m.)
The Tree Lighting Ceremony in Pioneer Courthouse Square features a sing-a-long with Thomas Lauderdale and members of Pink Martini, the NW Community Gospel Choir, Pacific Youth Choir, and friends! With a big tree, over 14,000 colorful lights, and Portland’s largest community sing-a-long, this is an event you won’t want to miss! At the same exact time a smaller, but no less sweet, Holiday Tree Lighting event will take place in Lake Oswego.

Each year, during Thanksgiving Weekend, to kick off the holiday season 150+ wineries offer special tastings, food pairings, live music, holiday discounts and more. Let the glory of Christmas come alive as the three hundred-voice choir creates a Christmas extravaganza for the whole family. Your favorite holiday songs, dancing Santas, and a beautiful cinematic Nativity. It is an awe-inspiring presentation and an experience not to be missed! With special guest artists Georgene Rice, Timothy Greenidge, Coral Walterman, Courtney Temple, and Erin Tamblyn, with the award-winning Jefferson Dancers.
