The Bastille Day Festival, held outside the Portland Art Museum, features something for everyone – all with a French flair. Food, street performers, a costume parade an outdoor marketplace (le marché)… and wine for the grown-ups. Gratuit. (That’s French for Free.)

Portland Vintage Racing Festival
Now through Sunday, July 10
Watch racers zip around the track in restored cars at the second annual Portland Vintage Racing Festival at Portland International Raceway. More than 200 historic sports cars will grace the course this weekend. This year’s fest includes “The Formula Festival,” providing various racing opportunities to honor cars such as Formula 1, Formula B, and Formula Vee. Prototype, sports racing, and production sports car models – think Lotus and Corvette – from the 1950s, 1960s, and beyond will also be on track.

Oregon Country Fair
Now through Sunday, July 10
Located in Veneta, just west of Eugene, the 47th annual Oregon Country Fair is a three-day festival that brings the community together. The surrounding trees and meadows are sure to be filled with sweet music, jesters, art, food, and craft vendors. No pets to be admitted.

Movies in the Park

Movies in the Park begins with entertainment at 6:30 pm, followed by movies at dusk. Enjoy a pleasant summer evening with neighbors at this wonderful, family-friendly program, which has grown from 13 movies to a run of 46 total movies at 43 sites. This weekend’s films include “Minions,” “Shaun the Sheep,” and “The Sandlot.” Bring coats (and maybe an umbrella). Free.
