SK&H Hosts Timber Joey! Friday May 29th, Stahancyk, Kent & Hook teamed up with the SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) program and the Portland Timbers to bring Timber Joey to Prineville, OR.

The Timbers’ Lumberjack mascot was taken down to Central Oregon to read to students at Crooked River Elementary School. Joey pumped up the crowd by starting a Prineville cheer before reading The Underwear Book by Todd Parr.

The students laughed, cheered, and promised to keep up their reading over the summer. We hope they keep their minds exercised —  because reading matters!

SK&H encourages positive atmospheres, and this is only one of many. Have a great day!
