Portland/Vancouver Veterans Parades

Portland Veterans Day Parade

Portland’s only Veterans Day parade,  started in 1974, the parade starts at 9:30 am. Vernon E. Ross, proprietor of Ross Hollywood Funeral Chapel, founded this parade to honor all veterans, past and present, living and deceased. The parade will begin at NE 40th and Tillamook and ends at the Ross Hollywood Flag Pole at Sandy Boulevard and NE 48th Ave.

The parade will be preceded by the Veteran’s Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. in the Providence Academy Ballroom, 400 E. Evergreen Blvd. The parade begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11. This year marks the 31st anniversary of the community celebration honoring Veterans of all service branches.
