Time to get your green on! St. Patrick’s fests and festivities are happening throughout the city this week including several performance by Laurel Hook’s daughter Eloise with the Murray Irish Dancers. The Portland Roadster show will lay down some tracks this SKH Weekend 

St. Patrick’s Day Festivals with Murray Irish Dancers

Friday-Sunday, March 16-18, 2018

In celebration of the St. Patrick’s Day The Murray Irish Dancers will be performing—including Laurel Hook’s daughter Eloise Hook—at 6 pm Friday at Kells Brewpub. The Murray Irish Dancers will also perform 11:30 am- 1pm Saturday at Kennedy School,  and 3:30 pm-4:15 pm and 6:30 pm-7:15 pm at Paddy’s. On Sunday they dance at Kells Downtown from 9:30 am-11 am, 12:30-1;15 pm at Paddy’s and 2 pm-#.45 pm at the Alberta Street Pub.

Shamrock Run & Fitness Fair

Friday-Sunday, March 16 – 18, 2018

Celebrate Opening Day of running season and join the Shamrock Run. Wear something green (and funky!) to the Shamrock Run Sunday morning, which has a half marathon, 15K, 8K, 5K, 1K, and a 4-mile walk. The Widmer beer garden and hot Shamrock Irish potato soup awaits finishers amid the fun of vendors in the Park. Jam like the Irish and enjoy live music on stage while sharing your run story with friends. The free and fun-filled Shamrock Fitness Fair is Friday and Saturday at the Oregon Convention Center.


Stumptown LepreCon

Always wanted to walk the streets as a giant leprechaun? Well, this weekend you will get your chance. Stumptown LepreCon is a progressive costume dance festival, benefiting the Portland Police Sunshine Division Inc. A St. Paddy’s Day costume and $10 wristband is required (Wear something green, blinky and illuminated. Your costume has to be more than just a green shirt or a button). 21+


Portland Roadster Show 

Friday-Sunday, March 16-18, 2018

See 400 outstanding cars, trucks, and motorcycles at the Portland Roadster Show at Portland Expo Center. On Saturday night get dressed up in your best 50’s outfit and lace up those dancing shoes.  The Portland Roadster Show is proud to once again have Johnny Limbo & The Lugnuts performing.  They will be performing their full show that night. The Optimus Prime truck from the movie “Transformers” also will be on display, with some of the movie props.


Portland Women’s Expo
