Incredibly quiet electric vehicles are at the heart of the EV Fest in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Come see cars that don’t need gas or oil, speak with the people that drive them, and learn how this green technology is changing people’s lives and changing the world for the better. Free.

Portland Craft Beer Festival

Portland Craft Beer Festival features beer from 57 Portland breweries, plus cider, wine, and cheese with food carts at Fields Neighborhood Park. Only beers, plus ciders and wine, crafted within the city limits of Portland are featured at the PCBF which makes it unique and different from other beer festivals.

Gear Con: Steampunk Convention

GEAR con includes panel discussions, evening entertainment, workshops, a costume content, a Friday burlesque show, and a Saturday cabaret at DoubleTree by Hilton.  All weekend long, enjoy discussions, hands-on workshops, gentlemanly/ladylike fisticuffs, hair-raising Tesla coil demos, a fine art salon and marketplace, and more adventurous delights from the “Past That Should Have Been.” Note that some events are age 18+.

OZCon: Wizard of Oz Convention

Celebrating the fictional Land of Oz, OzCon includes panel discussions, vendors, costumes, treasure hunts, and a re-creation of the 1933 “Wizard of Oz” radio program at the Sheraton Portland Airport Hotel. This year OzCon celebrates L. Frank Baum’s eleventh Oz book, “The Lost Princess of Oz,” which turns one hundred this year. 

Waterfront Blues Festival

Waterfront Blues Festival features 80 performers on multiple stages, ending with fireworks at Tom McCall Waterfront Park.

St. Paul Rodeo
