Lindsay Howk, SKH associate attorney, started volunteering with Minds Matter earlier this month. Minds Matter is an organization dedicated to helping accomplished high school students from low-income families improve their chances for long-term success. Mentors start working with children as sophomores and continue with them through their senior year of high school. As a volunteer, Lindsay tutors a student at X HIGH SCHOOL and helps them prepare for college by working through the standardized testing and financial aid processes. She enjoys revisiting her high school knowledge and is glad to know she’s helping her student invest in a future of success. You can learn more about Minds Matter here.
