First Generation Lawyers, Anna Friedhoff and Marie Phillips
First Generation Lawyers! Yesterday, Anna Friedhoff and Marie Phillips, two associate attorneys in our Portland office, joined the Oregon Women Lawyers for a lunch-time talk about the special struggles faced by first generation professionals. Multnomah County Judges Tennyson, You, and Lopez led the conversation in Judge Tennyson’s Courtroom. Both Anna and Marie are the first people in their family to serve as lawyers, and they enjoyed hearing the perspective from the bench.
