Black Bean-Chipotle Dip

Ingredients

-15 Oz Canned Beans or Leftover Black Beans

-1 Tbsp Hot Water

-1/2 Tsp Ground Cumin

-1/2 Tsp Salt

-1/4 Tsp Chile Powder

-Lime Juice (1 Lime)

-2 Tbsp Finely Chopped Red Onion

-Jalapeño (Up To Your Discretion)

-1/2 Cup Cheese

How To:

  1. Put the beans, hot water, cumin, salt, and chili powder in a food processor and whir until smooth. Add lime. Taste and add more salt/chili powder if you think it needs it.
  2. Drop in the onion and jalapeno and pulse just a couple of times to incorporate the ingredients.
  3. Spoon the dip into a bowl, add cheese, melt.

Chef Colton recommends adding either chicken or beef if you want to put a little protein in your dish!
