Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Beau worked in a variety of legal areas. He spent several months working at the Center for Justice in Spokane, WA at their low-income legal aid desk providing vital legal services to impoverished members of the local community. After that experience, Beau went to Las Vegas, NV where he worked for the Federal Public Defender in their Capital Habeas Unit representing death row inmates in their federal appeals. Beau then worked at the Lane County Public Defender Services representing clients in misdemeanor cases.

Beau Kellogg is an active member of the Oregon State Bar Association, and the Deschutes County Bar Association. He also participates in the New Lawyers Division of the Oregon Bar, and makes an effort to attend as many Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes as possible to keep up to date with changing trends in the law.
In addition to his pro bono legal work at the Center for Justice and Lane County Public Defender Services, Beau has worked at and supported several non-legal charities including Hospice, Anna Ogden Hall, and American Boston Terrier Rescue.

Beau was a projectionist in college and remains a movie buff to this day. He recently adopted a Boston Terrier from the American Boston Terrier Rescue organization and enjoys training her and taking her on hikes. He also enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with family and friends.
