Professional Experience

Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Lindsay gained valuable experience in a variety of legal areas. She worked for an established Oregon practitioner, focusing on juvenile dependency and criminal defense, developing skills in complex case management and trial preparation. Lindsay also worked for a family law firm in Salem, and for the Oregon Law Center where she gained experience in civil litigation and client care.

Lindsay is a member of the Family Law and Appellate practice sections of the Oregon State Bar.

Community Involvement

Lindsay is on the board of directors for Friends of Chamber Music, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to presenting the highest quality chamber ensembles in concert, and providing educational outreach to further chamber music in the community. Lindsay currently volunteers as a mentor for high school students at Minds Matter, a Portland non-profit organization dedicated to helping bright children from low income families prepare for college. Lindsay has previously volunteered with The Public Interest Law Project and the Environmental Justice Clinic at Willamette University College of Law. She has also volunteered with Legal Aid Services of Oregon in their Farmworker Protection Office.

Interests

Lindsay is a mountain lover who, before law school, was a mountaineering and glacier travel instructor in Alaska. She also enjoys cooking, hiking, yoga, and international travel.
