Administrative Assistant
Education: Eric received his Bachelors of Science
in Economics from the University of Oregon. He completed
his economic studies with a professional concentration
in International Trade, Developmental Economics and a
minor in Business Administration. Eric also received
education in Early Childhood Development and a Certificate
for School Age Leadership from the University of Northern
Iowa.
Professional Experience: Eric most recently worked
as an Aquatic coordinator and swim lessons supervisor
for the city of Eugene library, recreation and cultural
serv-ices division. In working for the Aquatics department,
Eric was on the diversity committee and assisted as the
developmental assets coordinator. During college Eric
also worked as a business technology sales associate.
Professional Activities:Prior
moving to Portland, Eric participated in several internships
with community service programs at various United States
Department of Defense locations. Eric worked with a disabled
swimming group in Okinawa, a summer sports program at
Camp Zama near Tokyo, a Pre-school aged development program
in Baumholder Germany and with a crazy bunch of Toddlers
at the Child development Center in Vicenza Italy.
Community Involvement: Eric
is actively involved in Left-Handed advocacy and interest
groups.
Interests: Eric is passionate about traveling,
the outdoors and anything in the water from scuba diving
to water polo. He is also a voracious reader with a stack
books on just about everything.
