Information Technology Manager
Education: Don has studied film history,
film production and photography both at the College
of San Mateo and San
Francisco Art Institute. He is self-educated
in computers, networking, and operating systems since 1984.
Professional Experience: Don has worked
at Fujitsu
Computer Products of America in hard disk drive product
technical support. He was the Information Technology
Manager at Cheskin,
an Apple Service Specialist at Rosai
Group, and has done technical support for Beatnik
and Future
Networks. He has been
a technical editor of the HL7
ISO standards publication.
Professional
Activities: Don is a member of the Portland
Filemaker Pro User Group and the Apple
Developer Connection. Recently Don became of member
of the InterFace 2010 Advisory Council for Oregon and
Southwest Washington.
Community
Involvement : Don actively participates in
his neighborhood watch group and occassionaly
provides knowledge and human power to Free
Geek in
Portland.
Interests: Don enjoys long
drives, photography, and video making. He is currently
writing a novel and working on videos which may some day
actually be completed. He enjoys blogging on his own web
sites and others, providing technical
support

in web
forums,
talking long walks
with his
wife and son, and learning home improvement and gardening.
