Vasquez
Legal Assistant
Education: Currently attending Portland Community
College pursuing an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies
with the intention to continue her education at Portland
State University to major in Criminology. Dominique’s
long-term goal is to attend Lewis and Clark Law School in
order to practice Juvenile Law in Multnomah County.
Professional Experience: Dominique has spent the last
2 1/2 years working with Alan W. Karpinski P.C working as
a trial assistant primarily within the juvenile court system.
Previous to that she worked with Laurie Bender as a paralegal/trial
assistant within federal criminal court system. She also
has extensive experience within the restaurant industry.
Community Involvement: Dominique has taught dance
at Self Enhancement Inc and Interstate Firehouse Theatre,
to name a few. She is involved with the Chief Joseph neighborhood
garden as well as being the Chairperson for the Performing
Arts at Chief Joseph Elementary School.
Interests:Having been involved in the performing arts
since she was a child Dominique continues to enjoy dance,
art, music, movement as well as writing poetry. She also
enjoys a good round of golf although she doesn’t promise
to be the best!
