Education: A native of Oregon, Ken received his law degree from
the University of Oregon School of law in 2005 and his bachelor's degree
in English from the University of Oregon in 1994.
Professional Experience: During law school, Ken worked as a law
clerk at Jaqua & Wheatley, in Eugene, Oregon. He has also worked
as an Unemployment Insurance adjudicator for the State of Oregon Employment
Department. Prior to law school, Ken was a case assistant at Stoel Rives,
in Portland, Oregon, and a waiter at Oba, also in Portland.
Professional Activities: Ken joined the
Oregon State Bar in 2006.
Community Involvment: Ken performed pro
bono work through Lane County Legal Aid while in law school. He has also
volunteered for the Greenhouse shelter for homeless youth in Portland, Oregon,
and has worked as a volunteer forester for the US Forest Service.
Hobbies and Interests: Ken enjoys spending
time outdoors with his family and also reading science fiction. He is an
avid fisherman and runner, and has been a Nike footwear field tester. |
