PORTLAND - Family practice law firm Stahancyk, Gearing, Rackner & Kent will move its headquarters from leased space in Jackson Tower to the McCall Building, a 16,000-sf building at Southwest 15th and Yamhill it purchased in January for $2.4 million.
The building has three above ground stories and a 4,000-sf basement. The purchase includes a 23-slip surface parking lot that sits adjacent the building. The building's foot print is 5,000 sf. The property as a whole is 13,500 sf.
Mark Fraser and John Kohnstamm of Colliers International had the disposition assignment. The seller was the McCall family. The property was put on the market following a bankruptcy filing by McCall's Great Western Chemical business.
SGRK will be moving out of 8,468 sf in Jackson Tower. Prior to move-in, scheduled for later this year, the firm is spending an unknown amount on remodeling. Some ground-floor space may be made available for lease.
