The reading successes in Central Oregon don’t stop with Timber Joey. SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) was honored nationally with the Library of Congress Literacy Award in the American Prize Category for its 2014 work throughout Oregon.

Stahancyk Kent & Hook P.C. hosted the award luncheon June 15 at Stahancyk House in Prineville. In attendance were SKH attorneys Fred Schroeder and Erica Strader, legal assistant Linda Smith, as well as SMART Central Area Manager Diane Turnbull and statewide Volunteer of the Year Kathy Knower (née Crook County).

Looking good, team!
