Parenting Plan

The Parenting Plan sets forth the schedule for each parent’s time with the children. Whenever the parties to a divorce have minor children, the court must be told where the children are going to live.  The Parenting Plan may be agreed upon by the parents or ordered by a judge after a trial.  In addition to the children’s schedule with their parents, the Parenting Plan may also include guidelines as to how and when parenting time exchanges will take place, and each parent’s rights and responsibilities regarding their children.
