Frederick Quoted in The Bulletin


Frederick Schroeder, associate attorney at SK&H’s Bend office, was quoted in a story that ran in this Sunday’s The Bulletin. The story covers some issues surrounding the succession of leadership in Central Oregon’s family farms and Fred is quoted as an estate planning attorney who provides some simple advice. He says, “Generally speaking, you have a conversation with a client: If you give up control … I can minimize your taxes. If you want to pass it on to the family, there’s control and loss of control.
