It’s official, Clatsop County is growing and SK&H is becoming more active. Christopher Palmer, Associate Attorney with the SK&H office in Astoria, was recently appointed as Secretary of the Clatsop County Bar Association (CCBA) by the Bar President. Palmer will be the first secretary in over a decade and he’s happily accepted his appointment.
“I am excited about the opportunity to become more involved with the Clatsop County Bar Association,” he says. “I am excited about the opportunity to give back to a legal community that has made me feel so welcome.”
Palmer notes that his excitement goes beyond just being involved because it’s also a chance for him to make an impact.
The CCBA is growing quickly and Palmer is in a position to make sure it continues to do so and remains active. “I believe that a vibrant and active bar association benefits both us as attorneys and the people we serve,” Palmer says.
Palmer is already helping the CCBA remain active. In fact, the association will be hosting an event at the SK&H office in July — Chris Palmer and SK&H have offered to take the lead on organizing the event. Chris will be assisting the bar with mailing lists, networking events, CLE planning and membership dues.
Congratulations Chris and we wish you all the best with your new position!
