Professional Experience: With a career history spanning over two decades, Shirley has experience in the allied health care field, higher education, child support and paternity establishment, and family law.

Education:

• North Bend High School Bend, OR. Graduated 1984
• University of Oregon Eugene, OR. B.A. in Psychology and Sociology.
• Portland State University Portland, OR. Master of Business Administration. Beta Gamma Sigma.
• University of Washington School of Law Seattle, WA.

While in law school, Shirley participated in the Northwest Justice Project – Refugee and Immigrant Advocacy Project during her third year, and did a 10-week internship with the Washington State Bar Association Office of Disciplinary Counsel. While studying at Portland State, she did a summer study abroad in International Business in Marseilles, France.

Professional Activities: Shirley is a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers, Multnomah County Bar, and Washington County Bar.

Interests: Shirley decided to go to law school after her son chose to leave college and join the military. A native Oregonian, raised mostly on the Southern Oregon Coast, Shirley is newly settled in the Portland area and looking forward to making it her home. A small town girl at heart, she still greatly enjoys time at the beach, rock climbing, gardening, and anything outdoors. She is also the pet human to three cats.
