Professional Experience: Prior to joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Joe worked for 2 years as a law clerk at a Eugene personal injury firm. He also provided legal services as a court certified law student at Public Defender Services of Lane County during his third year of law school. After graduation, Joe served as a law clerk on a capital murder case in Salem.

Professional Activities: Joe is an active member of the Oregon State Bar.
Community Involvement: Joe provided legal services for indigent clients as a part of his time in the University of Oregon's defense clinic. Joe has also organized fund raising events to combat multiple sclerosis, and has campaigned to raise awareness of assault on college campuses for the Brotherhood Empowerment Against Rape (B.E.A.R.) organization.
Interests: Joe is a sports fanatic who loves to talk (or play) football, baseball, soccer, and basketball. Joe is also an avid music lover, and between searching for next great album and attending local shows, he tries to find some time to play the guitar. Very occasionally he will dust off his drawing pad and do some pencil sketching.
