In October, 2007 Stahancyk, Kent and Hook P.C. settled at 158 NE Greenwood Avenue. With an eye toward the future the Shareholder purchased the building and completely renovated it. After the extensive remodel was completed the Greenwood building became the Bend office's permanent home. Jody Stahancyk wanted the Bend office to exhibit a welcoming and fun environment. On the cutting edge of interior design, she furnished the building in lavish 1970's decor using reupholstered furniture, mixed with classic vintage pieces and just the right amount of modern to add accents where needed.

In April, 2006 the Central Oregon office set up shop at 1195 NW Wall Street. This was a temporary location until the firm finalized renovations at the newly purchased building located at 158 NE Greenwood Avenue.  The Wall Street building is located on the edge of downtown Bend situated close to the river. The large outdoor deck provided a quiet and comfortable place for staff and clients to enjoy the sweet smells of summer.

225 NW Franklin Avenue
Bend, OR 97701

With a need for space, Stahancyk, Kent & Hook's Bend office moved to a larger building at 225 NW Franklin Avenue, also known as Kate's Place. Kate's Place is a historical building on the northwest side of downtown Bend, Oregon located on the ground of the old homesite of Klondike Kate.
Klondike Kate moved to Bend, where she was affectionately called "Aunt Kate," after she made and lost two fortunes in Alaska durning the Gold Rush. In Bend, Kate held various jobs, and became a highly active member of the community, even spending hours nursing the sick durning the influenza epidemic of 1918. Due to her significant history of civic involvement the Bend Fire Department gives out Klondike Kate Awards to citizens "who have made significant contributions or volunteered resources."
Along with the name of the building, Stahancyk felt the office decor should celebrate Central Oregon's rich history and decorated the office with photos, artwork, saddles and branding irons.

141 NW Greenwood Avenue
Bend, OR 97701

In 1998, Stahancyk, Kent & Hook made 141 NW Greenwood Avenue the home of their Central Oregon "Bend" office.  Opening an office in Central Oregon was a long time dream for Senior Shareholder Jody Stahancyk, who grew up in nearby Prineville and in Joel Kent she found just the man to do it. This small building located in the heart of downtown Bend, saw Joel start his branch of the firm in one room, with one employee to help him. Knowing only a few people in Central Oregon when he arrived, Joel soon found himself at home with a successful practice and the need for more than just one room.
